Lonely Beach Express minibus service

If your schedule does not match our big bus time tables, and / or you are planning to stay in a resort, guesthouse or hotel on Lonely Beach, Kai Bae Beach, Bai Lan Beach, Bang Bao Beach, or any of the other southern or central Koh Chang beaches, you will probably be interested in our latest express service: the Suvarnabhumi Airport - Lonely Beach Koh Chang shared minibus service.

 

This shared minibus service runs 2 - 3 additional shuttles to & from Bangkok airport, starting at Lonely Beach on Koh Chang.

 

The Lonely Beach Express bus will not make any stops, other than a few gasoline and toilet stops at gasoline stations along the way. It's therefore also not possible to make extra stops on Koh Chang island itself, even if a passenger's final destination is road side.

 

This express bus, the name says it all, will only stop on Lonely Beach in the car park in front of the Siam Beach Resort, from where it's possible to take (shared) taxi's (back) to other beaches on Koh Chang.

The fare for the Lonely Beach Express bus is just 600 baht / person / transfer and that even includes the ticket for the ferry to Koh Chang and all taxes, but now you can buy a round trip ticket for only 800 baht!

 

 

 

Private minibus

Undoubtedly travelling is the passion of everyone and everyone wants to feel it till extreme.  People do visit of different places especially in vacations as they want to feel free. Apart this more expensive than  those buses that Trat airport and Koh Chang minibus companies use. Private mini bus gives an optimal balance to those passengers who have been cramped up in tiny economy seats on several flights before finally arriving to Koh Chang island and Trat. If you are travelling with a baby then must book a seat for him/her specially for the quick journey from Koh Chang to the Thailand's capital Bangkok or Trat Airport (TDX) to Laem Sok or Laem Ngop piers.

 

The private minibus facilitates you with a space of 6 to 8 passengers as well as with luggage. All safety measures during journey has been done for you like seatbelts and First Aid box in case of emergency.

Above rates are per Car, not per person. For transfers to or from Koh Chang, 2 ferry tickets (Sedan) or 4 ferry tickets (Minibus) are included free of charge. Extra ferry tickets are charged at just 80 baht per person. Fuel, driver, taxes and, where applicable, expressway tolls are all included, so there are no hidden extras and it's a door-to-door service

Short description:

Klong Son beach (or Had Klong Son) is located on the north of Koh Chang. Nice bay at the very top of the island. Pure white sand stretch of beach, shaded with coconut trees. Klong Son gets very low numbers of visitors with the bulk of the backpackers and tourists alike speeding south enroute to Koh Chang's finer and more popular stretches of sand.

Short description:

Koh Chang's most famous stretch of sand, at over 2km long there's certainly room for everyone! Lined with bungalows, food stalls and shops this is one of the best beaches in all of Thailand.

Short description:

Situated on the somewhat less glamorous, northern side of the Koh Chang Island, Klong Prao isn’t all that much of tourist destination, especially for those who are in need of a true holiday experience of the exotic kind.

Short description:

Also known as Kai Bae Beach, this is the spot to catch a great sunset! A few small shops and food stalls are along the beach, a good spot to chill out away from the crowds at White Sands Beach.

Bangbao Bay is good for:

Short description:

A well-sheltered bay with a small and quiet beach. It is a fishing community where residents still live in houses built on stilts and are connected by wooden bridges. There are a growing number of tourist shops, scuba dive outlets and seafood restaurants offering a good selection of seafood.

Salak Khok Bay is good for:

Short description:

There aren’t so much attraction in Salak Kok, but tourists can Kayak among the mangroves. Salak Kok Bay still has a fishing community that doesn’t change so much in many years, a great place to see the real traditional Thai community.
