Shopping at White Sand Beach

White Sand Beach is the hardest place for shopping. Drew about the main street, open-air shops, air-con and stores of every type of products and goods may be found including clothes, beachwear, sarongs, shoes, sunglasses, sandals, carving stones, paintings, and wood, CDs and DVDs, books, souvenirs, precious stone, jeweler items made from silver, other hand-made jeweler items, kid’s toys, handicrafts, rugs, antiques, carpets, cushions and most of the other items.

For a traveler staying at White Sand Beach Resort, at the far, far north of the beach, he can access from the main road is down an incredible steep track that leading from the main road at the upper part of the hill. He won’t be walking this road. It is simpler to just amble south with the beach for 15 minutes to reach restaurants and shops. And, even if a person is not staying at White Sand Beach Resort, it deserves walking up there, with some of the lovely beach, near the bungalows to the northern area of the beach.   Here a visitor will look for a little beach bar. Cheap beers and light meals served in a favorable little shack by the sea.

The reality of every bungalow/ hotel resort has a bar and restaurant on the beach means that in the evenings the shops on the street-side draws towards the main road are fairly deserted until after everybody has eaten. Even though a person look for the cheap food stalls that originate in the evening along the on the 100 meters of under-constructed roadside just north of Kacha Resort busy with hotel staff and workers from 6pm onwards. There are a some crafty/arty small shops but on the entire most of it is the generic souvenir junk a person may get anywhere in Thailand and there’s quite short that he won’t find cheaper in any market in Bangkok, do his souvenir shopping there if he got some extra time.

Almost every shop there having the requirements of beach like shorts, bikinis, sand castle buckets, sandals, swim rings sunglasses, and sarongs, to mention a few. A choice regarding the trinkets and souvenirs, paintings showing the life of Buddha in most of the poses, wood carving items and even rugs and carpets are also on sale.

Portobello has two main shops; one constructed right next to Koh Chang Kacha Resort & Spa, the next one is on the back side of the similar resort. These chic short stores are obvious from the rest of the visitor with their better glowing sign of neon. The shops has the aspects of hand-crafted, unique floor and table lamps also as costume jeweler items made from precious, silver, and semi-precious gem stones - absolutely worth a look.
