Koh Chang interior is mountainous. These mountains are covered by tropical rain forests. In addition, this island also has sandy beaches resorts and hotels. Some beaches are also found on the rocky part of the island.

Koh Chang has three main seasons. The rainy season starts from June to October. The cooler season runs from November until February. Then the island has a hottest season that starts on march and end on May. However, the weather of this island can be unpredictable. This is because even during the wet season, the island can be warm. It might also be humid during this season with some sunshine.

One good thing about Koh Chang Island is that even during the rainy season, rains do not last the whole day. Usually a brief downpour is followed by a clear sky and bright sunshine. Therefore, even when traveling during the monsoon season, you can be sure to experience a desirable tan and some sunshine.

Nevertheless, the best time to visit this island is from November to February. During this time, the skies are always clear and it is not too humid. However, hotels increase their rates during this season and beaches are very busy. In addition, accessing some southern parts of this Koh Chang during rainy season may be difficult
