Koh Man Nai Island is just a few meters away from the shore of Kai Bae beach. It can be reached easily by a paddled or motorized boat or by a kayak. It is the smallest island among the three which comprises Koh Man Island group. Koh Man Nai is only 100 meters across. The island of Koh Man Nai is home to a turtle breeding program which breeds and reintroduces turtles back into the wild. The program is endeavored through the directive of no less than the Queen of Thailand. Visitors or tourists can visit the turtle sanctuary by boat.
Aside from being a turtle sanctuary, Koh Man Nai island has a beautiful beach at its northwest side. Though it has no formal structure to accommodate tourists but its white sand beach offers comfort to tired bodies and serenity to the weakened spirit. The beautiful panoramic scenes fronting the beach coast are simply awesome to behold which city life cannot provide. The sea breeze, rustling of the leaves and the chirping of the birds are soothing and melody to the heart. Its pristine water is cool and naturally refreshing.
The shallow depths of the beachfront are excellent venue for kayaking and fun swimming dives. Further off from the beach you can find coral reef with abundant variety of fish and corals. Scuba diving and snorkeling is best thing to do to appreciate Koh Man Nai underwater jewels especially turtles. Kayaking around the island leads you to see some of its physical features like irregular rock formation, green vegetation and some sturdy trees with stretched branches offering natural shades beneath them. And since the island is a turtle preservation sanctuary, night camping or overnight stay is strictly prohibited. But nonetheless, the island of Koh Man Nai is open to adventures for it knows that out from its littleness come huge and great memories.
