Koh Chang Noi Is a Heaven on Earth

Koh Chang Noi is a heaven on earth in true sense. It is located in the National Park of Thailand. It is located near the larger Koh Chang Island. Koh Chang Noi is 100 meters from the north most tip of Koh Chang and separated by a narrow straight from it. This straight is used by fishing boats when they are heading from the mainland to the sea on west of Koh Chang. Koh Chang Noi comes in way if you are visiting Koh Chang by a ferry.

The island is surrounded by long trees and boulders on its back or west side. Recreational activities like snorkeling can be done on its west side. Snorkeling lovers from nearby Koh Mapring Island also visit this place regularly by using the Sea Adventures Catarman boat service. There is a real Eden for nature lovers on the eastern side of the island. Surrounded with beautiful coconut and other type of trees, there is a small beach on the eastern side of the island which makes it an ideal place for picnic spot. Thai Navy claims the custody of this island with a warning sign on the beach which reads that visitors are not allowed on this island. It also reads further that any trespassers would have to be in jail for 5 years or have to pay a fine of 20,000 Baht in case of disobedience. But tourists can easily ignore it as chances of a warship coming to this area are very less. The north end of the beach is having a foot path leading to the centre of the island.

There are no facilities like hotels or guest houses in Koh Chang Noi but yet it is a place worth visiting. Tourists can enjoy the hidden beach of Koh Chang Noi while accommodating at the nearby Koh Mapring Island.
