Enjoy Burying Your Head in Koh Prao Nok (Koh Sai Khao)

Koh Prao Nok is situated at the entrance of Salakphet Bay of the southeast end of Koh Chang Island. It is just 1.5 kilometers from Ao Krarang at its northeast side and Koh Prao Nai at its northwestern portion. The island’s land mass covered with green and lush natural vegetation. The resort in the island of Koh Prao Nok called Sai Khao White Sand looks deserted and seems not operational. It is in some degree gives a dull aura to the surroundings. The presence of some staff is purely for maintaining and up keeping of the resort’s facility including the plants, garden and physical structures. Nevertheless, Koh Paro Nok is a beautiful place for adventure, fun and relaxation.

 

The beach area of Koh Prao Nok Island is immaculate white and sandy smooth. You can enjoy the fun of burying your body under the sand. You can also have an enjoyable strolling along the beachline with friends or family while indulging for some sightseeing of the beauty of the nearby islands and occasional passersby in motorboats or speedboats. Koh Prao Nok’s clear and pristine surrounding water is excellent for kayaking or a venue to practice paddling it. Just a few meters off the coastline, you can enjoy the underwater scenes while snorkeling. The seabed is an aquarium of diverse marine life like fishes of beautiful stripes and colors in varying sizes. They appear tamed as they move along your way and even dare to touch your fingers while feeding them. Giant clams and mollusks are also a rare sight to behold.

 

The coral formation simply attests the natural blessings nature has for years to the island of Koh Prao Nok. The stillness and calmness of the sea is perfect for individuals who come to rest and relax. Laying your back at the couch and allowing yourself to be filled with the soothing and cool sea breeze is totally a surreal experience which the busy and pressured urban life cannot offer.

Short description:

Klong Son beach (or Had Klong Son) is located on the north of Koh Chang. Nice bay at the very top of the island. Pure white sand stretch of beach, shaded with coconut trees. Klong Son gets very low numbers of visitors with the bulk of the backpackers and tourists alike speeding south enroute to Koh Chang's finer and more popular stretches of sand.

Short description:

Koh Chang's most famous stretch of sand, at over 2km long there's certainly room for everyone! Lined with bungalows, food stalls and shops this is one of the best beaches in all of Thailand.

Short description:

Situated on the somewhat less glamorous, northern side of the Koh Chang Island, Klong Prao isn’t all that much of tourist destination, especially for those who are in need of a true holiday experience of the exotic kind.

Short description:

Also known as Kai Bae Beach, this is the spot to catch a great sunset! A few small shops and food stalls are along the beach, a good spot to chill out away from the crowds at White Sands Beach.

Short description:

A well-sheltered bay with a small and quiet beach. It is a fishing community where residents still live in houses built on stilts and are connected by wooden bridges. There are a growing number of tourist shops, scuba dive outlets and seafood restaurants offering a good selection of seafood.

Short description:

There aren’t so much attraction in Salak Kok, but tourists can Kayak among the mangroves. Salak Kok Bay still has a fishing community that doesn’t change so much in many years, a great place to see the real traditional Thai community.
