Beauties of Koh Salak

Koh Salak may not be a mentionable island in many maps but it does exist on earth. It is located in the National Park of Thailand.  Koh Salak is present in conjunction with Koh Lim Island which is comparatively larger in size. When looking outside of the Salakkok bay Koh Salak Island is present to the left side and on the north side of Koh Lim Island.

The island seems to be a rocky outgrowth surrounded by trees. The water quality of this island is not very good as compared to other islands in the area. The water surrounding this island is not very clear as it is with other islands. Although this island is considered as a little insignificant but still there is something very significant about this island: the water surrounding the island is really very good for fishing. A restaurant called as Salakkokk Seafood Restaurant is nearby this island. Apart from providing exotic and tempting food this restaurant also provides kayaks on rental basis. Tourists have to hire a kayak if they want to go fishing in the sea. This island also serves as a good place for some local fishermen in the area.

Salakkok bay serves as the entrance sight for this island. Koh Salak is the real place for the lovers of natural beauty. This island may be able to attract tourists who admire natural beauty.  The real beauty of the island is in the backward view towards the mainland when travelling from Koh Salak. The view is a picturesque look of a hilly terrain surrounded by sea. The island does not consist of any facilities of guest houses as human life is not present on the island. But it is still worth visiting for adventurers who want to explore the world on their own.

Bangbao Bay is good for:

A well-sheltered bay with a small and quiet beach. It is a fishing community where residents still live in houses built on stilts and are connected by wooden bridges. There are a growing number of tourist shops, scuba dive outlets and seafood restaurants offering a good selection of seafood.
