Amazing Underwater World at Koh Mapring (3) Island

Koh Mapring (3) is the third island which carries the name “Koh Mapring”. It lies off the southernmost beach of Koh Rang and is approximately 100 meters away from it. It can be reached either by kayak, small boat or swim. Fun and adventures are not obviously on its physically look but under its clear blue waters.

Considered as frequently visited site for scuba diving and snorkeling, Koh Mapring (3) has great underworld wonders to show off. Its seabed is landscaped with corals of varying sizes, colors and forms. Aquatic life thrives abundantly which include elephant ear and mushroom coral, banded angelfish, butterfly fish, giant puffer fish, anemones, blue spotted stingray, giant clam, giant grouper and other endemic marine species. At the surface of the island you can have a refreshing halt by dropping an anchor and by the boat you can enjoy a relaxed set up for quiet reading or simply enjoying the natural surroundings of the island.

Feeding is a welcome idea to take personal encounters of different fishes in the area. You can also take a good swimming dives and dips into the clear water while savoring the meal you bring along. Of course, you can take some wacky shots with the island as the backdrop to show off to your friends or to post in some social media sites like facebook.  If you have a poet in you, the Koh Mapring (3) island adventure can be a useful platform to bring out creative ideas into the fore.
