Koh Thong Lang

Koh Thang Lang Island is one beautiful Island of the Chumphon Islands National Park. It is located east of Thung Makham Noi and approximately six kilometers away from the cost. It can be reached by boat and travel time is estimated at 20 minutes from Thung Makham Noi Island.

If you have gone to many beautiful places or islands, Koh Thang Lang Island might not suit your taste or you might be in a total lost and in quandary if you go there looking for comfort of a villa. It has no structures on it. It is a mid-sized island with no residences. The physical look of it resembles a mountain and its 300-meter dull and course sand beach is shaded with trees naturally grown along the island’s irregular coastlines. The island of Koh Thang Lang is generally a habitation of wild plants, sturdy trees, bushes and rocks.

Nevertheless, Koh Thang Lang Island has many good things to offer to travelers or tourists who love adventures and discoveries by their own making. The island is a good alternative for outdoor camping. What travelers can do is to bring their equipments and food provision enough for their planned days of stay. The place offers the privacy and solace one is looking for. Because it is encircled by clear and pristine water, enjoying some dives and dips are not far-fetched. But the real treasure the island can offer is hidden from the external look of it. It is regarded as one of the best sites for snorkeling.

Its beauty lies beneath the sea. Its seabed is decorated with corals of different shapes, forms and colors. It is a city under where varieties of fish in different schools are playfully making their way around the island. Koh Thang Lang is an island endowed with simplicity at its exterior but underneath it colors, movements and marine life are patiently waiting for great human encounters.
