Ao Kao beach – Excellent Beach of Koh Mak

Koh Mak is one of the most mouthwatering places that any tourist can ever visit. It has a very remarkable coastline, whose distance stretches as far as 27 km. The area is home to a lot of beaches; the most notable beaches are in the south and others in the west. Ao Kao beach is located south-west of Koh Mak. It is one of the most popular beaches in the area with resorts numbering up to 12. If you are an individual who loves spots where you can enjoy being alone or with your loved one, this is the place to be. You can also bring your family to the area so that you can see the beauty of this place together. The beauty of this beach will definitely blow the mind of any tourist away. The water is normally at a low tide. However, the tides usually fluctuate from time to time. If you love swimming, then you just have to advance until you can find a high tide. Do not worry about the taste of the water, because you will definitely love it. There are numerous wonderful scenes, especially the sunset and the palm trees. You can also enjoy seeing the Koh Rayan Nai and the Koh Rayan Nok.


The sands of the Ao Kao sandy beach are very remarkable; they are white in nature and they stretch up to 5 km. You can lie down and enjoy the sun's rays or simply watch the tides of the waters as they exchange positions. The place is home to a number of resorts; it has a larger fraction of all the hotels that are found in Koh Mak. There is no need to worry about being accommodated. The charges for each of these hotels and resorts vary according to the size and nature.

Klong Son beach (or Had Klong Son) is located on the north of Koh Chang. Nice bay at the very top of the island. Pure white sand stretch of beach, shaded with coconut trees. Klong Son gets very low numbers of visitors with the bulk of the backpackers and tourists alike speeding south enroute to Koh Chang's finer and more popular stretches of sand.
