The white beach of Koh Chang and the nightlife of Phuket: The Best of Two Worlds

Though Koh Chang and Phuket are islands belonging to the same country, but they have distinct and different things to showcase. Being favorite destinations for local and international tourists, they are both natural haven. But in terms of entertainment some visitors considered Koh Chang more natural than Phuket. As the island of Koh Chang is situated in the gulf of Thailand, it is relatively safer to navigate its waters and coastlines compared to Phuket where it is located facing the Andaman Sea which is a big body of water and often visited by destructive forces of nature like typhoons and the recent tsunami incident that struck the place that caused destruction to lives and properties. This makes more visitors in their 40’s prefer the white beach of Koh Chang and the nightlife of Phuket comes as the choice for young travelers.

At Koh Chang any traveling tourist or visitor can have the best world of nature as the entire island and the chain of neighboring big and small islands is under the Mu Koh Chang National Park. Koh Chang in particular is regarded as Marine Park. Being an island surrounded by waters, beautiful white sand beaches are among its best offerings for visitors to enjoy during their stay. Beautiful beaches are situated mostly in the western side of Koh Chang and with it, sunsets become worthy coastal attraction in the afternoon.

Without taking into account the structural developments of Phuket as Koh Chang is just a tourist hub in the making, Koh Chang may be better than Phuket for those who come to escape the madding crowd of the city and want to experience solitude. They might love and get the best rest they want on the white beach of Koh Chang and the nightlife of Phuket may not be their heart’s desire as of the moment.
